Full-Size Toyota Pickup Upgrades · Phoenix

Set Your Tundra Up for the Road Ahead Phoenix Lift Kits & Front Leveling

Built around your Tundra’s job

A full-size pickup has plenty to do, from the daily commute to towing and trail time. If you want to change your Tundra’s stance or clearance, we sell the kit and take care of fitting it. Our work includes checks of the affected systems, a complete alignment and a drive to verify the result.

Front leveling versus an all-around lift

The slightly nose-low posture common to factory Tundras is called rake. A leveling kit brings the nose closer to the rear height. A lift kit instead adds height at the front and back to increase ground clearance.

How your pickup earns its miles matters when choosing between them. We will ask about commuting, pulling a trailer and trail driving, then help you sort out an approach before installation begins.

From the initial inspection to the road check

  • Look over suspension condition and steering components before fitting anything.
  • Install the front kit hardware and any rear hardware included in the package.
  • Replace shocks or springs where the selected kit specifies them.
  • Check sway bar links, brake lines and the other systems the height change touches.
  • Carry out a full post-installation alignment service.
  • Drive the finished Tundra to verify straight tracking and handling feel.

Don’t leave the wheel angles to chance

Neither lifting nor leveling ends when the hardware is bolted in. The altered height requires an alignment, so we include that work and show you the results. Otherwise your Tundra may drift to one side, wear tires unevenly or leave the wheel off-center. Find further details on our wheel alignment / TPMS page.

A taller pickup can feel different

Ride comfort depends on the setup: some combinations feel more compliant, while others feel noticeably firmer. We give you a straightforward explanation of what the parts you are considering may change.

Height can affect handling as well. Cornering may bring additional lean, and wind across the highway can feel different in a raised pickup. We check the truck on a test drive once the installation is complete.

Checking steering geometry and 4WD axle angles

For a four-wheel-drive Tundra, added front height alters CV axle angles along with steering angles. Pushing those angles too far can bring premature wear to CV boots and joints. We inspect the geometry involved and discuss a sensible setup for your truck. This CV concern applies to 4WD configurations, not every Tundra. For a truck that feels wrong after previous lift work, our vibration and shaking diagnostics and suspension / steering services may be useful.

Decisions we settle with you first

  1. Go over your Tundra’s usual duties and the look or clearance you are after.
  2. Choose between lifting and leveling, then review the kits available through our shop.
  3. Explain how the proposed setup affects comfort, handling and wheel alignment.
  4. Provide the kit price and installation estimate clearly before the job starts.

More than full-size truck installations

Have another Toyota to set up? We sell and fit kits for the Tacoma and the 4Runner as well. Each vehicle gets a plan for its setup, checks during the fitting process and an alignment afterward.

Tundra kit questions, answered

What does leveling do that a Tundra lift does not?

A front leveling setup addresses the difference between the lower nose and taller rear. A lift increases overall vehicle height for clearance, rather than just evening out that stance.

Can a Tundra lift be finished without alignment?

No. Lifting or leveling alters the alignment geometry, so we perform an alignment as part of finishing the job. Leaving that out can affect tracking, steering-wheel position and tire wear.

Does raising a Tundra affect comfort or handling?

That is possible. Different kits can give a firmer or softer feel, and extra height can change cornering lean and response to highway wind. You will hear the expected tradeoffs before we fit the parts.

Do I have to buy my own Tundra lift kit elsewhere?

No separate parts-shopping trip is needed: ToyoMotors sells the kits we install. We can help you choose, then handle the fitting and alignment in the same shop.

Are Tacoma and 4Runner kits available through your shop too?

Yes, our work extends to those models. See the Tacoma lift-kit service or the 4Runner leveling and lift page for model-specific information.
